Description
Light is the life of your portrait. Knowing how to use your camera is not enough if you don't understand photography lighting. Understanding lighting is more complex than learning the controls of your camera - it bounces off some objects while passing through others, creates shadows and influences the colors of the image. Use the basic concepts learned in this class to take control over both natural and artificial light. Learn how the position of the light affects a photograph and how to create mood lighting and flattering shadows. If your photos look dull, then most likely the issue is your lighting. Learn how different lighting can change the colors in the image and how to use that to your benefit. Sign up today and take your photography to new heights by learning how to control and use lighting.
Students need to bring a digital SLR (or mirrorless) camera with full manual capability and any flash or other lighting equipment they have to class.
